Resource Coordinator at the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency

The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency is the leading, directing, and coordinating authority in civil defense. We ensure that society is prepared for crises, heightened readiness, and war.

Do you want to help lead the effort to prepare all of Sweden? Then you could be our next colleague.

With us, you will have the opportunity to prepare others for crises and war. As a resource coordinator, you play a key role within the training unit. You will support managers and colleagues in planning sustainable schedules and the needs of the operations. You will help develop methods and routines that contribute to the goals of the organization. In this role, it is important that you continuously present suggestions for improvement and identify development opportunities.

Your Responsibilities and Tasks

As a resource coordinator, you will plan scheduling in the short and long term, and you will schedule the unit's broad range of training and courses. You will be part of the team in the Education Support section, and your assignment will also involve driving planning work and service distribution in collaboration with section managers. You will follow up on resource usage, coordinate and communicate planning and scheduling with school management, teachers, and other staff. You will also have system responsibility for the IT-based scheduling tool.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Completed upper secondary education
  • Current experience in complex resource planning and administration
  • Good computer skills

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Experience in scheduling systems such as TimeEdit
  • Experience in change and development processes
  • Knowledge of the agency's operations

In all our work, both internally and externally, we must act based on the state value framework. Like all employees and leaders with us, you are expected to act according to the agency's approach.

The approaches apply in everyday life, crises, and war. They should be seen as a whole and build on each other; collaborative – proactive - action-oriented.

To succeed and thrive in the role, it is crucial that you are service-oriented, analytical, and solution-focused. Together with others, you work systematically to achieve set goals.

About the Employment

We offer you a permanent full-time position that begins with a probationary period. Your place of employment will be Sandö, and travel may be required in the position.

About Us

In the Education Support section, we gather competence and knowledge related to resource coordination, planning, and administration, and together with your colleagues, you will support the entire unit. In the Education Support section, we are 16 employees, and we are located in Sandö, Revinge, and Stockholm.
